At the heart of my practice is an in-depth, body mind approach to holistic care.
These more intensive and specific sessions are focused on your whole-self, while honoring your very specific needs or goals to feel and move better in your body.
We will work together before, during, and after our in-person sessions to include at home care to support your progress.
Each individual session is designed to support your whole health and wellness, meeting you "where you are" on any given day - disconnected, in pain, depressed, anxious, grieving, overwhelmed - this is a safe space to "be real", be honest, and just be. My intention is to create a warm, welcoming place for your healing.
In these Signature Wellness Sessions, we can:
-
ease or eliminate CHRONIC PAIN,
-
aid and improve recovery from INJURY or SURGERY,
-
support embodied self care while navigating TRAUMA, and
-
address your overall WELLBEING through a meaningful, integrative approach and practice.
Here are the steps we'll take together:
1. When you reach out via text, call, or email, we will discuss your current area of concern.
If it seems bodywork can be a helpful approach, we will schedule your first appointment. which will generally be a 2.5 to 3.5 hour session.***
*** New Signature Wellness Clients, please note: I recognize that making time for us to get to know one another may require some effort with scheduling and planning. Please know I deeply appreciate your commitment and investment into your whole health and wellbeing, and it's my greatest honor to get to do this meaningful work with you. ***
(Please note: If for any reason we decide that bodywork with me is not appropriate for you at this time, I may offer a referral to another practitioner or make alternative suggestions.)
2. I will send you an extensive New Client intake form to complete prior to our appointment, and also make note of any allergies or sensitivities you may have so that our therapy space is free of them during your session. Please print and bring this completed intake to your first appointment.
3. We will meet in person at your first appointment!
Our first Wellness Session will look something like this:
I will greet you at the door, and be sure to let you know where the restrooms are, offer you something to eat or drink, and encourage you to discuss any concerns and ask any initial questions.
Depending on your health history and area(s) of concern, the intake and assessment may require 60-120 minutes. During that time we will do our best to support your comfort (sitting, standing, moving - whichever feels best for you at that time).
During our intake, we will discuss your personal preferences and potential benefits of specific bodywork tools (heat, cold, essential oils, stretching, myofacial release, guided embodiment, breathwork, and any other tools or modalities that we might integrate into your session).
The first session may include 30-90 minutes of hands-on massage and bodywork. Throughout our session, I will be checking in with you to hear how you're doing, what you might be noticing, and taking care that we are working with your body and comfort levels.
We may include a blend of these modalities:
-
balance, stability, strength and range of motion assessments,
-
structural integration,
-
myofacial release and deep tissue massage,
-
cranial sacral therapy,
-
lymphatic drainage,
-
acupressure and shiatsu,
-
visceral massage,
-
Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian style, integrative massage),
-
reflexology of the hands and/or feet,
-
reiki and energy work,
-
gentle stretching and yoga techniques,
-
hydrotherapy: hot towels, hot stones, cold stones or ice,
-
aromatherapy with pure, ethically sourced essential oils and organic skin care products,
-
meditation, visualization, and mindfulness techniques,
-
breathwork,
-
and more
Following this initial massage and bodywork, we will check in with how you're feeling and moving.
I will offer my initial impressions and assessment, and if needed, we can work together to create a functional plan for moving forward, as well as communicating with any other practitioners on your health care team (at your discretion, and always honoring your confidentiality).
4. I will followup with you regarding self care and at-home instructions to support your progress between sessions, and be sure to check in the day before our next session as well.
Each of your Wellness Sessions will be completely customized to acknowledge your current physical, mental, and emotional states - how you're feeling, moving, breathing, and even thinking that day. This is a truly holistic approach to your wellbeing.
I am so grateful for your trust as we move through this wellness journey together.
Thank you for being here!
I look forward to meeting you soon.
With Love and Care, Stephanie
POINTS OF CLARITY: YOUR GOALS & CREATING A WELLNESS EXPERIENCE JUST FOR YOU
All sessions are entirely customized to your needs and goals. Wanting to reduce pain, quiet the noise, improve sleep, navigate trauma, heal from injury, and/or find flexibility in body and mind? Let's get started.
DISCERNING OUR BEST APPROACH
After a thorough discussion about your health history, current well being, and particular goals, we can integrate a variety of modalities and therapeutic approaches to this session maximizing the benefit to your overall wellbeing. We might incorporate various techniques to increase overall circulation, reduce restrictions, and improve a healthy stress response.
ESSENTIAL OILS
Essential oils may be diffused into the treatment room, or applied topically on the skin (allergies and sensitivities considered, of course.). Oils can support deeper breathing, greater relaxation, and promote fast-acting effects by interacting with the limbic (i.e. emotion) system. Oils may be chosen for their warming or cooling effects on the skin (such as the cooling menthol of peppermint oil), deeper therapeutic effects for connected body systems (e.g. reducing inflammation), and can support your continued healing after our session has ended. Stephanie can create essential oil products for you to take home, as well.
PAIN
Pain is often a symptom of injury, immobility, stress, disease, or even our daily habits (such as poor posture or lack of movement). If that's the case, we'll integrate range of motion and/or mobility testing to see what will be most helpful for you, then utilize techniques such as active or passive stretching, joint mobilization, deep tissue massage, and myofascial release. Some of these techniques are "deeper" in nature, but we will always work within comfort and listen to your body.
GENTLE AND EFFECTIVE, "DEEP" BUT NOT PAINFUL
Gentle techniques may be most supportive for some overall goals - especially for stress relief and nervous system regulation. (Anxiety, depression, and overwhelm might be all too familiar in our daily lives.) We can incorporate cranial and facial massage, foot and/or hand reflexology, acupressure, shiatsu, energy work, lymphatic drainage, and more to improve how you feel and move.
No matter your reason for seeking holistic care, we will see and feel what works best for your body as we create your uniquely therapeutic massage and bodywork experience.

Myofascial Release and "Deep Tissue" Massage for Pain Relief
2 hours: $240
90 minutes: $200
Not a long standing client, but need help with a specific physical pain point?
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release restrictive bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the extraordinary connective tissue that connects and covers almost every tissue, muscle, organ, and skeletal structure of the body.
Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia. Whether we work deeply or superficially, these techniques allow for increased circulation, improved mobility, and significant relief from pain.
Please note: These sessions are designed for focusing on a singular, specific pain point, such as waking up with a crick in your neck or back. If you have chronic or more systemic pain, a Wellness Session is recommended.
Let's get you able to sleep, work, and function through your day. These pain-specific sessions offer much needed relief and improved movement and mobility.

Cocoon: When You Just Need Space to Yourself
30 minutes: $30
60 minutes: $60
Tired?? Annoyed? Just need some time to yourself, and maybe a Nap?!
THIS IS FOR YOU.
Message me to reserve our therapy space for 30 or 60 minutes, all to yourself.
-
The massage table will be ready with freshly laundered blankets, pillows, bolsters, and heat to your preference, so you can be cozy, comfy, and cocoon to your heart's content.
-
You will also have an eye mask and ear plugs available for your nap, and to take home after you wake up.
-
Make the cocoon your own: connect your device to a bluetooth speaker, or bring your own ear buds and music.
-
Your choice of aromatherapy can be diffused, as well. Want to immerse yourself in the scents of a lavender field, refreshing peppermint plants, citrus orchards, cinnamon spice, or evergreen ease? We can make that happen. (Or, no scent at all. This is your time.)
-
Plus, a refreshing drink and snack will help you nourish your whole self as reemerge into the world.
Our bodies and minds NEED rest, and sometimes they just need a little time alone.
Take good care, Dear Ones, and let me know when you'd like to have some time for yourself.
Need bodywork and a nap? Please ask about adding this extra cocoon time onto your scheduled bodywork session, and we'll build this into your appointment.
